On Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m., Joe Morse ’65, together with Dr. John Campbell, professor of history at Winona State University, and Jessica Eling, a student at Winona State, will talk about Morse’s experiences in the civil rights movement, particularly his involvement in the 1964 Mississippi Freedom Summer, as well as about the civil rights history trip the three of them took with a number of other WSU students in the summer of 2014.  The presentation, “From Winona to Mississippi in 1964 and 2014: A Saint Mary’s Student Recounts 50 Years in the Civil Rights Struggle” will be in Salvi Lecture Hall.
